How much does board governance coaching cost?
Founding client rates (CAD): the first governance call is free — a 30-minute conversation with no charge and no pitch. A Board Governance Review is $750, a Half-Day Board Workshop is $1,500, a Full-Day Board Retreat is $2,800, a complete Governance Build starts at $2,500, and an ongoing Advisory Retainer is $500 per month. These are launch prices and will increase after the first group of clients.
Do you work with boards outside Edmonton?
Yes. Boardwise is based in Edmonton, Alberta and works with boards across Canada. Workshops and coaching sessions run virtually or in person, and reviews are done remotely from your documents.
What happens on the free governance call?
It's a 30-minute conversation about where your board stands — what's working, what's grinding, and whether governance is part of the problem. No charge, no obligation, and no pitch. If a paid engagement makes sense we'll say so plainly; if it doesn't, you'll leave with a clearer picture either way.
